Optional high quality remote
volume control circuit. It incorporates a microprocessor controlled series/shunt
attenuation circuit. This circuit provides 84 dB of attenuation in 1 dB
steps with independent left and right channels (allows balance adjustment). Black anodized metal
remote handset with volume and mute functions (input selection and balance setting added with remote upgrade). Three line level inputs (four optional)
selected by a front panel switch controlling relays mounted close to the
inputs, minimizing signal path and noise. Three color LED to show input selected for standard remote, display for volume setting and input selection with remote upgrade. Independent power supplies
and regulators for all sections. Extensive use of Hovland,
Axon, and Wima capacitors and Roderstein resistors Linear Technology regulators
and Telefunken ultra fast, soft recovery diodes Choke loaded high voltage
supply. Individual polypropylene
filter capacitors for each tube section Gold pin ceramic tube
